USMNT Asst Coach Jesse Marsch on JMS Podcast
Friday, July 23rd, 2010
This week’s guest on the Jared Montz Soccer Podcast is Jesse Marsch. Jesse is an assistant coach for the US Men’s National Team. Prior to being named as an assistant in February 2010 Jesse was the captain of Chivas USA. He played 14 seasons in MLS, won three MLS Cups and four US Open Cups and was capped by the National Team twice. He is also our first podcast guest to make two appearances.
On the podcast we talked about his transition from playing to coaching, the World Cup in South Africa, why the center midfield was changing every game, why Edson Buddle didn’t play more, took some user submitted questions, discussed what’s next for Jesse and previewed the USMNT’s upcoming game against Brazil.
Enjoy!
