This week’s guest on the Jared Montz Soccer Podcast is Chris Rolfe of the Chicago Fire.  Chris recently scored a great goal that is up for MLS Goal of the Week, his team is pushing to win the MLS Supporter’s Shield, and a few weeks ago it was announced he has signed and will be transferring to Danish Superliga side Aalborg at the end of the year.  Chris and I talked about all of this and previewed Sunday’s game against Columbus for first place in the East on this episode of the Jared Montz Soccer Podcast.

The past three weeks I have been unable to produce a new Jared Montz Soccer Podcast because I had three weeks in a row of soccer camp.  The hand has been twitching a bit and garage band on my Mac hasn’t been to happy with me, but I am back now and what better way to get the podcast back going again for my excellent listeners than to have Chad Barrett of Toronto FC on the pod!!

Chad is an Oregon native living the dream playing for one of the most well supported clubs in MLS.  He left UCLA early, signed a generation Adidas contract, played in the U-20 World Cup, and has the potential to be one of the top strikers in MLS one day.

On the podcast we are going to talk about how is personal season is going, last night’s victory over New York, his Canadian lifestyle, reaction to USA win, take some user submitted questions, preview TFC’s upcoming game against Real Salt Lake, and hear his score prediction and keys to victory for team USA in the Confederations Cup final!
