Last week was my Gonzales, Louisiana soccer camp. This also happened to be my last camp of the 2010 summer. We a had a great week and all the players showed a lot of improvement. One of my favorite memories at this camp was during the scrimmage one night. The youngest group of 5-7 year old’s were scrimmaging. Nick, age 7, kept shooting but couldn’t score and was starting to get discouraged. Jackson, age 5, tells Nick while the play is going on, “Believe in it Nick!”. As he is running after the ball a winded, tired Nick says, “I can’t believe in it when I keep missing…”. Jackson then replies, “You have to Believe in it” and Nick says, “Okay”. Next shot Nick takes is a goal and the two of them run and celebrate!! I gave Jackson the assist on that goal!
I was so proud watching this unfold in front of me.
Special thanks to my awesome sponsors for supporting my Gonzales soccer camps!

There are plenty of pictures from camp besides just the goofy face photo above so I recommend you click here to view them on my Facebook photo album. Even if you don’t have Facebook you can still view them. I apologize in advance for pictures being sideways in the photo album. I corrected them in iphoto but once they uploaded to Facebook they resorted back to their original setting and Facebook wouldn’t let me rotate them.
If you see your picture either on the blog or Facebook feel free to download and save it to your computer. My advice is to right click on the image, then select the “save as” option to save it to your computer. It’s free so have at it! If you have any questions about how to do this feel free to contact me at jared@jmsoccer10.com and I will do my best to help you out.
Thanks again for a great week at camp! I look forward to seeing everyone in the Online Soccer Academy and at future camps soon!
