Last night I found out my most recent soccer camp in Mandeville, Louisiana was going to have a very well written article about it in the St. Tammany News! They are a local paper covering the parish (county for anyone outside Louisiana) I live in.

This last picture I tried to bribe Mike Perval, the reporter, to not put it in but he said it would be against his journalist ethics.  Can’t blame a guy for trying!  In my defense I taught my players how to shoot so well at camp (notice his toe his down, he’s letting ball drop below knee, & his using his laces) that it got kinda scary playing goalie against them!

Last month at my Pre-College Soccer Camp in Shreveport, Louisiana one of my players, Caroline Tullos, wrote me this really cool poem/rap.  I was very touched and humbled when she gave it to me and I thought it would be something cool to share with yall.

This last picture is of Carson who is from Shreveport, Louisiana.  He wanted to come to camp so bad he convinced his mom to drive him 6 hours and let him stay at his Aunt’s house in Mandeville for the week.  Which is awesome!!  Lots of my campers in Shreveport get their foreheads autographed so he wanted it done!  I promise his mom said it was okay to do this!
