This week’s guest on the Jared Montz Soccer Podcast is Jesse Marsch. Jesse is the captain for Chivas USA in MLS, one of four MLS original members still playing, and he has played in over 300 games at the club level. Since joining Chivas in 2006 Jesse has been a consistent starter and leader for the Goats. His interview was great and he is an awesome guy to talk soccer with.
On the podcast we talked about what has made him a successful player in MLS for so long, how his personal season is going, what it is like to play in a Chivas vs. Galaxy Super Classico, took some excellent user submitted questions, discussed his plans for when his playing days are over, and previewed this Sunday’s huge 2nd leg playoff game against the Galaxy.
Enjoy!

Thanks for listening to the Jared Montz Soccer Podcast with Jesse Marsch. If you are in LA this Saturday be sure and check out Jesse (hopefully he gets cleared to play) and Chivas USA take on the LA Galaxy in this epic Super Classico 2nd leg playoff match at 7:30 pm eastern time. If you are not in the SoCal area you can catch the game on ESPN2 and more than likely ESPN360.com for you internet watchers.

Since joining Chivas in 2006 Jesse has been a consistent starter and leader for the Goats. He is currently dealing with a concussion but there is a chance he could be cleared to play before this Sunday’s big 2nd leg playoff game against the LA Galaxy.
On the podcast we are going to talk about what has made him a successful player in this league for so long, how his personal season is going, what it is like to play in a Chivas vs. Galaxy derby, take some user submitted questions, discuss his plans for when his playing days are over, and preview this Sunday’s huge playoff game against the Galaxy.
If you have a question for Jesse please submit it to me before 4:00pm central time Thursday, November 5th, because that is when we have the interview tentatively scheduled for. There are a few ways you can message me: post a comment below in the comments section, message me on Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, or through your Online Soccer Academy account, and you can even email me at jared@jmsoccer10.com.
The podcast should be available Friday morning on my blog and you can also listen to it by subscribing for FREE in iTunes!

Never seen the Heart Shape goal celebration before, that was cool. Anyone know who it was for?
You thought HP sauce (it’s English) had flavor… check out Becks in the middle of this clip!

Not the most intense game, but the Fire got the “W” and that is what counts! Playoff bound!
Wish I could have seen the halftime event where Chris Armas was named to the Fire’s Hall of Fame, the “Ring of Fire”. Thankfully Peter Wilt, the Fire’s former GM and member of the “Ring of Fire”, was posting some great pics on his Twitter feed! Thanks Peter!

Wow, what a ball by Kljestan! I love the outside of the foot pass!
Every time I watch Ryan Johnson he is scoring goals! Hopefully I can get him on the podcast this week!
