I think instant replay is a touchy subject. Soccer is a game of changing momentum since it hardly ever stops moving. So the down side to having instant replay with a “1 challenge per game” might be the coach calling a challenge just to change the momentum of the game since the game would have to stop. If a coach gets the call wrong maybe their should be a penalty or something, like in the NFL with a loss of timeout. Except in soccer their is no time out. So what should the penalty be?
One day I think it will happen and soccer will have instant replay. With so much money on the line these days in big games it seems like it would just be better to have it (with limits) then not too. It seems to work well for the NFL, but that game is use to lots of stoppages in time.

Do you think soccer needs instant replay? It seems to have worked well for american football.
Maybe each coach gets 1 challenge per game?
