Pretty pumped this morning when I went to get the morning paper and there was a pic of Al da Gator and I from last Saturday when he and I kicked off the Tchefuncte Middle School Walk-a-Thon!

This event was a fundraiser for the school.  I am not sure exactly how much they raised but the article says they are expected to have surpassed their previous net total of $10,000!!

If you live in the Greater Mandeville Area be sure and pick up a copy of this Sunday’s (Oct 25th) paper to read the article and hear how I described to the kids what “Believe in it” means.  The article is not published online yet, but when it does I will update this post with the link so everyone can read it.

I have been lucky enough to be in the paper a few times but I am proud to say this is Al da Gator’s first time!!!  So proud of him!  I might need to start him a Facebook fan page soon!
