One of the cool things about coaching youth soccer is sharing in special moments with players I coach.  Thankfully a lot of my players and their parents email me and send me great pictures like these and I can only help but share them with you!  Great job ladies on the Championship!!  Keep up the great work!!

I coach a few of these girls at my camps and in my Online Soccer Academy!  Big shout out to Kat Dodick, Morgan Manuel, and Emily Brodt!  Thanks for emailing me the picture Anissa!  Below is what Anissa, super soccer mom, had to say about their Championship weekend!

Coaches-a picture for you from this past weekend…our girls played 5 games to win the tournament; a win over Thibodaux 4-0, a tie with Gonzales 2-2, & a win over St. Charles 1-0.  In the semi-finals they played to a 0-0 tie against MSC U-14 Div I white, tied in a PK shoot out and won in sudden death (Kat blocked 3 goals in the shoot out and 1 in sudden death to help them advance!)  They won the final against Gonzales 1-0.  Kat and Emily Brodt shared GK duty in the tournament and both played really well.  Our team was 1 of 2 U-13 teams in the U-14 bracket-we were combined because there were too few teams for separate brackets.
