Pics from Chicago Fire vs. LA Galaxy Game
Last night my wife and I went to the Chicago Fire vs. LA Galaxy game at Toyota Park outside Chicago. Despite the threat of nasty weather it turned out to be a perfect night for soccer. Just wet enough grass to get the ball moving quick, 73 degrees, a cool breeze, and Section 8 (Chicago’s Die hard fans) cheering as loud as ever!
Below are a few pics and commentary about our experience.

View from our excellent seats thanks to Julie Jawor!! She works in the Fire’s front office in season ticket sales and is a big fan of JMSoccer10.com and the “Believe in it” way of doing things! She is “Living the Dream” for sure! Thanks Julie!

By halftime the Fire were down 1-0. My wife knows how much I love Nachos at ball games so to cheer me up she couldn’t resist getting me Ice Cream Nachos for the 2nd half. I was so excited that I quickly took a picture and posted it on Twitter and Facebook. Then I looked at the desert on the camera and realized the old saying, “Don’t judge a book by its cover” was in order. You can draw up your own conclusions of what this looks like but I got some interesting and funny comments about it on Twitter and Facebook! I promise it was delicious and I highly recommend it if you go to a Fire game!

Unfortunately the Fire lost 2-0 but I didn’t hold that against my old roomie and good friend Leonard Griffin. This guy is a good player and recently got engaged so I was pumped to see him, say congrats, and take a picture as a fan!

Fire players Calen Carr and Peter Lowry sign autographs after the game in the club house.

Walking around inside the stadium I saw an old picture of me hanging on the walls near some of the club suites on the 3rd floor. It was pretty cool to see (I am the guy on the far right) and meant a lot. Hopefully they never take it down because I look forward to showing my kids that one day!

I was a little slow to catch this pic on my phone but Jon Bush, Fire’s goalkeeper, was hanging out in the club house after the game and signed his gloves and gave them to this cute little girl. I love her face trying to figure out what just happened and why her hands are so big now!
Despite the loss Emily and I had a great time! Hope you enjoyed the pics!
The Fire’s next game is this Sunday against Colorado at 5pm central so if you are in Chicago try to make it out. They are selling $10 tickets!
