A slightly disappointing result for the Galaxy, especially with Edson Buddle and Landon Donovan departing for the USMNT camp. Hopefully the pair are saving their energy for bigger opponents.

I posted the audio version of this Jared Mont Soccer Podcast with Edson Buddle yesterday.  Today I am posting the video version.

On the podcast we talked about Edson’s great start to the season, the Galaxy’s great start, his chances of playing in the World Cup, if there are any foreign teams calling, the Edson Buddle foundation, took some user submitted questions and previewed their upcoming game.  This interview was conducted Monday May 10th and the announcement for Edson being in the 30 man roster happened today on May 11th.  So I apologize but I wasn’t able to ask him how it felt to be included in the team.  Sorry.  There are plenty of other good questions though!

If you are in LA this Saturday May 15th I recommend you get out to the Home Depot Center and watch Edson and the Galaxy take on his former club Toronto FC.  Game time is for 7:30pm west coast time.  If you can’t make the game you can watch it live on Fox Soccer’s prime ticket (Sorry, on the podcast I said MLSSoccer.com’s Prime Ticket, I was wrong).  Or for updates I would follow the LA Galaxy on Twitter.
